Our programmes for managerial leaders. Because leadership is not about position and management is more than leadership.

The new world of work has shifted the requirements of managerial leaders, whether at the supervisor or the executive level. The Group-based Managerial-Leadership Programme is a new approach to traditional leadership programmes at UJ, bringing together a number of traditional leadership and management skills and combining them with new frameworks and approaches for the new world of work.

In this programme we delve into key principles of Change Management and Change Leadership

Change leadership is the process of inspiring and guiding individuals and organizations to successfully adopt and execute change. It focuses on creating a vision, inspiring commitment and driving results, while also engaging stakeholders, communicating effectively, and building a culture of change.

Change management, on the other hand, refers to the structured approach to planning and implementing change within an organization. It typically includes activities such as defining the problem, creating a change plan, communicating the change, and ensuring that the change is adopted and sustained.

Both practices are important and this programme aims to provide tools for change leadership and inspiring and guiding the change, and change management, its planning and execution.
